Statistics show that students who become involved in campus life have a greater chance of completing their degrees on time. Moreover, many employers look favorably on applicants who have had leadership positions in student organizations. There are several avenues for students to become involved while attending Georgia Southern. The College of Information Technology has two student organizations, ACM and AITP, both of which are open to all CIT students. In addition, students can become involved in any number of student organizations, a list of which is available from the student organizations web page.
