Richard Aldredge is the CIO/Corp Vice President for Kauffman Tire, headquartered in Atlanta, GA. Kauffman Tire has been in business for over 70 years and is now consistently one of Atlanta Business Chronicle’s top 100 privately owned Georgia based companies and one the largest independent tire dealers in the United States.
Richard has worked closely with the owners of Kauffman Tire for 18 years, managing the company’s growth and IT development that now supports Kauffman Tire’s 44 retail stores, 11 distribution centers, 4 commercial tire centers, an e-commerce company treadepot, a B2B portal site for wholesale dealers and a supporting web site for Kauffman Tire retail. Recently, Kauffman Tire was a finalist in the Technology Association of Georgia’s 2006 Excalibur Awards for its use of wireless technology in developing a new Warehouse Management System.
Richard is a 1985 graduate of Georgia Southern, with a Bachelor of Business Administration with emphasis in Information Systems. Richard lives in Lawrenceville, GA with his wife of 20 years, Malissa, also a Georgia Southern graduate. They have a 7 year old daughter, Emily, and together, they enjoy lake life, water sports, travel and are members of Cannon United Methodist Church in Snellville, GA.
