Joe James, former Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors for esävio, has more than 30 years of experience in the information technology industry. Joe has considerable experience in large-scale project management, systems development and programming, application design and development and operations support systems and planning.
As Founder, Director, President and Chief Executive Officer for esävio corporation, Joe was responsible for the strategic planning and execution to create the first enterprise Managed Services Company. His specific duties included the initial acquisition of $50 million in venture funds, acquiring and integrating four acquisitions, and acquiring significant clients in the Fortune 2000. While working with esävio, Joe increased revenues 100% two years in a row, opened 12 offices, created an infrastructure with 350 employees, and was recognized as the leader in IT Managed Services by industry and financial analysts.
Prior to founding esävio, Joe held numerous positions in the technology field, including: Executive Vice President of System Solutions at AnswerThink Consulting Group; National Practice Leader for Enterprise Integration Services at KPMG Peat Marwick, LLP, and President of KPMG's subsidiary, Team Integration Services; Vice President of Operations and Engineering and co-founder of Bell Atlantic Network Integration; Director of Service and Technology at C&P Telephone Company; and District Manager of Operation Applications at Bellcore.
Joe is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Towson State University and a Masters in Business Administration in Management from Loyola College.
