Information technology can’t be seen or touched, yet its effects are seen or touched in every part of everyday life. When harnessed or hacked, it can wield power for good or evil. It has the potential to take the world to Mars or to its knees. IT—overrated, underrated, wired, or expired—it is constantly changing and just as constantly, changing our world.
At Georgia Southern University the College of Information Technology is creating the systems that will affect the lives of millions; we are training the technology experts who will invent, lead and control the advances that will distinguish life in the twenty first century. On behalf of the men and women of our College, WELCOME!
