CISM 1110 - Computer Applications 1-0-1
Provides hands-on lab and
detailed instruction in application software using word-processing,
spreadsheets, database, and presentation software.
Co-requisite: CISM 1120.
CISM 1120 - Computer Concepts 2-0-2
Provides an introduction
of computer concepts and the evolution of computers in society. Lecture
topics include computer system components, data representation &
storage, software & multimedia, computer architecture, data
communications & network configuration, data security & privacy,
viruses, ethic, email, Internet, and the computer marketplace.
Co-requisite:
CISM 1110. (CISM 1110-lab and CISM 1120-lecture must be taken at the same time.)
