Raymond Richards; BBA-IS 2003, MBA-IS 2005


Raymond Richards completed the requirements for his undergraduate degree in 2003; serving as President of Delta Sigma Pi was one of the highlights of Raymond’s undergraduate career.  Upon graduation, he became an Application Developer for Georgia Southern University’s Auxiliary Services and began working on an MBA with IS Concentration.  While at Georgia Southern, he worked on several development projects including the design, development, and implementation of a work order processing web application, a parking citation payment web application, and a magnetic stripe card read/write application.

After completing his MBA, Raymond joined Capgemini as a consultant in its Technology Services discipline. Since joining, he has been involved in multiple projects for one of Capgemini’s major wireline telecom industry clients.  He has served as a Business Analyst on a data warehousing project for the client’s Broadband Operations BI organization and on a subscriber forecasting project for the client’s Consumer Marketing organization.  He has also served as Team Lead/Solution Architect on a multi-release enterprise-wide application development project and on a customized capital investment decision support application.   In addition, Raymond has served as a Release Manager/Technical Analyst role on an application maintenance outsourcing project and as a Technical Analyst/Tester role on the customization and implementation of a network inventory application.

Along the way, Mr. Richards has assembled an impressive skill set that includes: BEA Weblogic, Business Objects XI, CA Erwin Data modeler, CA Harvest, Granite Inventory Core, Granite Xng Admin & Client, HP Quality Center, Java/J2EE, MS Project, MS Visio, Oracle 10g, PL/SQL, SPSS, SVN, TOAD, UNIX, and WinCVS.
