Biography:

Mrs. Aviles joined the College of IT in January 2002; she started as a graduate assistant while pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in information systems from the University’s College of Business Administration. Once completed in 2005, she became an academic student advisor for the college and was recognized with the Staff of the Year award.

Instructor Aviles has maintained a quick and continuous learning philosophy and persistently seeks opportunities to better understand and help students. While working in the Department of Student Services, she realized how much she enjoys interacting with students and educating them. Eager to continue her professional career in full time instruction; she started preparing for the EdD in Education Administration in 2006.
