Future Graduate Opportunities The Department of Information Systems plans to create a Masters of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) degree program as well as a MBA/MSIS dual degree program. The department will continue to support the MBA-IS Concentration and MSAE/IT Concentration degree programs. Students who fulfill the requirements for the MSIS degree will earn a SAP Certificate by virtue of completing three SAP-approved graduate courses. MSIS graduates will be prepared for IT leadership in business organizations. Students will be able to fulfill most, if not all, of the requirements for the MSIS degree online. MBA students will be able to finish the MBA/MSIS dual degree program by completing as few as three additional graduate-level Information Systems courses after satisfying the requirements for the MBA with IS Concentration. MBA/MSIS dual degree students will earn a SAP Certificate while completing their coursework. The department also hopes to be heavily involved in delivering graduate-level courses for specialized masters programs for officers in the FA-24, FA-53, and Battle Labs programs at Fort Gordon in Augusta, Georgia. |
