Master of Science in Applied Engineering with an Information Technology Concentration

CISM 7330 - Information Technology Management is a required course in the Master of Science in Applied Engineering with IT Concentration (MSAE/IT) Curriculum.  Many students completing this degree also use graduate level CISM courses to fulfill most or all of their Restrictive Elective requirements.  And, because of their active engagement with IS instructors while completing the requirements for the MSAE/IT Concentration, students in this degree program typically include one or more IS faculty members on their Comprehensive Exit Interview panels.

Popular graduate-level Information Systems courses taken by MSAE/IT Concentration students include:

  • CISM 7xxx - Project Management
  • CISM 7331 - Enterprise Systems Analysis & Implementation
  • CISM 7332 - Enterprise Data Management
  • CISM 7333 - Digital Commerce
  • CISM 7334 - IT Strategy & Policy
  • CISM 7xxx - Enterprise Information Systems
  • CISM 7xxx - Business Intelligence

MSAE/IT Concentration students can earn a SAP Certificate while satisfying degree requirements by choosing to take the Enterprise Systems Analysis & Implementation (CISM 7331), Enterprise Information Systems (CISM 7xxx), and Business Intelligence (CISM 7xxx) courses to fulfill the Restrictive Elective requirements.  See SAP@GSU to learn more about the value of adding the SAP Certificate to the MSAE/IT Concentration.
