IS Internships and Co-ops


The Department of Information Systems actively encourages each major to do at least one internship while completing his/her degree.  The department also works with majors who choose to engage in co-ops to ensure that they can finish their degree in a timely manner.  The increasing availability of online courses often enables interns to take enough classes to keep their financial aid and maintain full-time status; taking at least one online class per co-op rotation is also becoming more common.

An internship or co-op provides a great opportunity for the employer and the employee to get to know each other and determine whether future employment is a good fit for both.  We encourage you to contact us if you are interested considering our majors for internship or co-op positions.

Dr. Camille Rogers is the Internship and Co-op coordinator for the Department of Information Systems. She will assist with communicating the internship/co-op opportunity to IS majors and with the completion of the paperwork needed to ensure that the student gets academic credit for this valuable professional experience.  Dr Rogers can be reached via:
