This year's College of Information Technology Alumnus of the Year Award was presented to Darren Bridges, Executive Vice President of Safe Systems, Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia on April 8, 2006 in the Nessmith-Lane Ballroom.


EDUCATION:
     Georgia Southern College, B.B.A. in Information Systems


ACCOMPLISHMENTS/SERVICE:

  1. Began career in Network Services at COIN Banking Systems, worked as a Network Engineer, eventually managed the Technical Service and Engineering Department
  2. In 1994, joined two former GSU grads as a partner at Safe Systems, Inc. which has a focus on technology in the Community Banking Industry
  3. Stockholder and member of the Board of Directors for Gladiator Technology

AFFILIATIONS/HONORS:

  1. Member of Peachtree Road United Methodist Church
  2. Habitat for Humanity volunteer
