Scholarship Applications were accepted through March 13, 2009. Applications will be accepted again in early spring 2010, please check back then.

Scholarship Application Form

Criteria to Apply:

  1. Applicants must have completed at least 24 semester hours of college work at an accredited
    institution of higher education.
  2. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative unadjusted GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  3. Applicants must be or have an intention to declare Information Systems as a major.

Criteria for Initial Qualification:

  1. Applicants must have completed admission to Georgia Southern University.
  2. Applicants must have declared Information Systems as a major (either Pre-business, Pre-IS, or BBA).
  3. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative unadjusted GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  4. Applicants must have completed CISM 2530- Advanced Business Applications and CSCI 1236 - Intro to Java Programming (or equivalent) with a B or better.
  5. Applicants must have completed Area F (see Georgia Southern University Catalog) of the business core, or be presently enrolled in courses which will complete Area F (A student who fails to complete Area F during the first semester of scholarship assistance will lose the scholarship.)
