AITP Chapter Wins SCOPA Award

AITP scopa award

Aaron Ward, Chapter President of the
Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP)
accepts the SCOPA 2007-8 award from
the Chapter's Faculty Advisor, Dr. Cheryl Aasheim
in their first chapter meeting for the fall - on September 18, 2008.

According to AITP:

Eight colleges and universities received the Student Chapter Outstanding Performance Award (SCOPA) for the 2007-2008 academic school year.
The most schools to receive the SCOPA in many years.

The schools receiving the award are:

Region 3
Delta State University, Cleveland, Mississippi
Northwestern State University, Natchitoches, Louisiana
Texas A & M University, College Station, Texas
Texas State University, San Marcos, Texas.

Region 5
Central Michigan University, Mount Pleasant, Michigan
Kalamazoo Valley Community College, Kalamazoo, Michigan

Region 7
Georgia Southern University, Statesboro, Georgia


Region 18
Appalachian State University, Boone, North Carolina .
