D r. Kadlec received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Mississippi. After graduation he implemented a computer helpdesk at the University of Mississippi, supporting desktop computing for the campus. He accepted a position at the University of Georgia, supporting the Terry College of Business in their computing needs. He was technical lead for a distance learning MBA program when he began work on a PhD.
