German

Rationale

Germany is one of the top nations in the research and development of high-tech products.  A student with a B.S. in Information Technology and a knowledge of German would be an invaluable asset to not only German companies in the US and abroad, but also to American companies who do business with countries where German is spoken.  By offering the IT major with German as a second discipline, Georgia Southern has the unique opportunity to produce graduates with the linguistic skills, cultural knowledge, and technical expertise to succeed in today's modern global society.
