Rationale

Information Technology and Global Communication are so closely related that Foreign Language competence in our transcultural society can only enhance a student's opportunity for success and for securing meaningful employment.  A thorough background in spoken and written Spanish provides a logical global communications link to the Bachelors of Science in Information Technology.  With system and university commitment to internationalization and transcultural experience, the second discipline in Spanish will enhance the IT major's ability to compete in the global marketplace.
