Job Description:

Position Summary:
Sell to and service smaller, early cycle accounts typically via phone. Support team revenue goals and direct selling efforts of a region.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Qualify incoming leads and direct to appropriate sales rep or function.
•Promotes the sale of company products through direct solicitation via incoming or outbound calls.
•Respond to customer inquiries, need for support or request to place an order.
•Develop new accounts within territory and scope.
•Serves as a liaison between customers and company departments to resolve customer questions and problems.
•Maintain sales records/database.

Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
Knowledge of company products and services
Minimum 3 years related experience

Skills/Ability
Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
Proficiency with PCs and common software applications
Ability to work with general supervision and within a team environment
Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities
This position will have supervisory responsibilities over a small team of Sales Support Representatives. The ability to lead and direct others, handle customer complaints and escalations and resolve conflict, as well as an understanding of VeriFone's progressive discipline process is required.
