Interactive Support Specialist
:
Position Overview
The Interactive Support Specialist deploys interactive marketing campaigns and provides technical support to customers. This entry-level position executes the process of campaign deployment from receipt of customer’s creative assets through the actual deployment of the campaign, using a variety of web-based technologies including email, web analytics, Google Adwords, and social networking applications. This includes building simple HTML email and landing page templates, coordinating the use of tracking codes, and managing data. The Interactive Support Specialist provides help-desk support for DemandMarketer, DemandEngine's web-based email marketing platform.
The ideal candidate will combine the ability to communicate effectively, with strong analytical skills, and a comfort level working with technology. Preference will be given to candidates that have a strong academic background in mathematics, natural sciences, technology, or web design.
This is a temporary-to-permanent position.
Primary Responsibilities
* Provide support to customers using DemandMarketer, DemandEngine's web-based email marketing service including:
o Resolving technical issues
o Providing online training
o Making alternate recommendations to improve campaign performance
* Coordinate with customers to secure necessary creative assets, copy review, revisions, and final approvals.
* Implement full-service email marketing campaigns. Upon receipt of customer-approved creative assets, build the email including:
o Use a template in the DemandMarketer application and populate with content
o Create an HTML paste email
o Create image image mapping as required
o Apply tracking codes as required
o Validate functional and rendering performance
* Deploy and coordinate paid search advertising campaigns and provide reporting to customers
* Coordinate social networking campaigns. Create fan pages, groups and customer profiles and monitoring activity against stated objectives.
Skill Requirements
* Impeccable eye for detail, strong organizational skills
* Working knowledge of Microsoft programs, Excel and Access
* Hands-on experience with HTML and Adobe Creative Suite a plus
* 4 year college degree from an accredited college or university required
